I think this is just a new trash talk type of story for the media. Yeah she has gained weight but, she is also becoming a woman instead of the teen idol, the diva that America deemed her to be. She proves that with her continued talent along with class. So many celebrities are out there and have gained a few pounds yet they are still showing skin trying to hold on to an image that ends up "dripping" out of their clothes and filling up our eyes. Jessica is at least maintaining her self respect by not being "tacky" or however you would like to say it maybe even trashy, her dignity in tact she is still a beautiful woman. There is your proof that life happens to us all and the best, the true divas know how to continue on and produce good music blessing us all with god given talent.
This ordeal brought a couple questions to my mind when I heard Jinger talking about it this morning...
Image means a lot in this industry but is her physical image worth more than her talent?
How many of the people critizing her can say they have accomplished the things she has or even holds an ounce of the talent that she does as an artist?

Honestly... skinny has become the "in" thing. Why? I prefer meat on my bones and meat on the bones of people that are idolized. Little girls think it's okay to be under weight, when it's unhealthy. I love Jessica Simpson and think she looks amazing. Hey! If Tony likes it, what's the problem!?! Thick is in!!!

I think people should mind their own business, that's the problem today she's the one who has to deal with her weight & I don't think it helps to bring it to everyone's attention, I think she looks good, & if she feels good that's all that matters. who cares what people think anyway I'd tell them to bite me.

I think she look like a 9 month pregnat old cow who is choking like my papaw robby on thanksgiving chokin' down the meat-loaf.I mean siriously guys, everybody thinks she is so great because she's hot, but i've got a different story.She might as well go back to the third grade.-i feeel sorry for anybody who likes her.
