The Tennessee State legislature wants to put a $600.00 cap on lottery winnings of anyone recieving state or federal assistance.

That means $6.4 million LESS in scholarships and grants the state lottery would be able to provide each year from it's lottery proceeds. Isn't that like kicking someone when they are down? Once someone on welfare does win the lottery, then that means they are no longer on welfare, right? Lots of heated opinions on this!
