Michael Jackson Tribute Show
Today we chose to celebrate Michael Jackson, the artist. Which we took just a little heat for. Some thought due to his personal life, which did get freaky towards the end plus the allegations of child molestation, did not warrant giving Jackson any airtime at all. Most totally were into it, so we took requests for your favorite MJ songs, took your "where were you when you found out" stories and chose to remember the artist that truly changed the scope of pop music forever.

yea, i thought of him as a hero at one time however the last decade he has been nothing but a freak. from the plastic surgery, whiting of his skin and the child molestation. I have no respect for him. I love 94.9 and usually have it on in my house, and car's 24/7. (NO JOKE. I never turn the radio off in my house.) However I couldn't take any more michael jackson shortly after it started. ***edited for content**** Everyone has an opinion about micheal jackson but the facts are what they are. I'm not sad he is gone. I mean come on he had major issues and may just be me but I think this world would be a much better place if there were less people in it that hurt kids. You all know he is guilty. May not had a jury say so but O.J.'s said he was not guilty and we all know different. Speaking of, he wont be missed either when he is gone.

Who cares about his personal life?! He had great music! Isn't that what a radio's job is - to play the amazing music of a legend?! Let the news talk about all the bad stuff, leave the music to the pros on radio!
