MONDAY MORNING MAIL BAG
She says her friend is jealous that she gets all the attention when they go out. She says it's because she's way hotter than her friend. Should the two stop hanging out at bars together, and just do things one on one together? With no men around to fight over?
HALLOWEEN COSTUME IDEAS
Fall means apples, cooler weather -- and Halloween. In 2008, the average person spent 66 dollars. Try saving on costumes by...
Having a costume exchange Invite friends and classmates over, bring your costumes and other items from your dress-up box, and have at it. Some P-T-A's organize costume swaps -- see if there's one at your school.
Buying used costumes or components Use Craigslist, local consignment stores and Freecycle.com. Post a "Wanted" note on Freecycle for the items you need, and offer any items you no longer need.
Making your own costumes If you're going to make your own costumes, get ideas at EHow.com and Coolest-Homemade-Costumes.com.
PREGNANT WOMAN IS PREGNANT
This is just wild! In Baltimore, Julia Grovenburg was already pregnant when doctors told her she was pregnant -- again! No kidding. Julia was shocked when an ultra sound showed her baby girl-- and a second, younger male baby beside her. Doctors believe she conceived the second child two-and-a-half weeks after the first and they are both developing side by side. It's an extremely rare case of a phenomenon known as "superfoetation" (super-foe-TAY-shun) when a woman conceives for a second time while already pregnant. Julia conceived the two non-twins, who have different due dates, with her husband Todd. The older one had already been given the name Jillian and her younger brother will be called Hudson. Superfoetation can be dangerous for the younger baby as it could lead to premature birth and lung problems, but experts said a gap of only two-and-a-half weeks should not lead to a problem for Hudson.
MERMAID GIRL
SHILOH PEPIN was born with both of her legs fused together, and she's known as "The Mermaid Girl." She just celebrated her 10th birthday, even though doctors didn't think she'd survive more than three days after she was born.
