MORNING MAIL BAG Jinger and Izzy,
My boyfriend has a tattoo of his ex-girlfriends name on his chest, near his heart. I knew this going in, but it was just a physical relationship. Now, it’s evolved into more of a emotional situation. Knowing that his ex’s name is branded on him forever is beginning to bother me. I love him! He loves me! But it’s like he still holds a piece of HER near his HEART, literally.
Is it selfish to ask him to cover it up, or change it. After all I knew it was there going in, but now things have changed.
Help me,
BP OIL SPILL STILL CAUSING TROUBLE
Looks like that BP oil spill is causing more problems than we thought -- and in more ways than we thought. In Uniontown, Pennsylvania, state police arrested 34-year-old Anthony Dodson on charges that he threatened his girlfriend with a meat cleaver while they argued about the British Petroleum oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Dodson allegedly attacked the woman while she was holding their child during the argument.
HERO OF THE DAY
Now it's time to recognize our Hero of the Day . . . 4-year-old Lexi Ostrand of Port Richey, Florida.
Last month, Lexi's father, Ed, was dumping a bucket of pool water off his dock when he slipped and fell five feet, landing head first in an oyster bed in low tide.
Ed says, quote, "The oyster beds are like razors. It split my forehead and nose open. When I surfaced, blood was just pouring down my face. She said, 'Daddy you're hurt and bleeding bad.'"
Fortunately, Lexi had learned in her kindergarten class to call 911 in case of an emergency. So she ran inside the house and did just that.
Ed needed 50 stitches to close up his wounds, and he also suffered three bulging discs in his spine, but he's expected to make a full recovery. And it's all thanks to Lexi.
