It's so distressing when you have sick family. I got a bad cold a couple of weeks ago and now feeling better. The toddler got sick a week ago and now the husband is sick. Unfortunately, he's also developed pink eye or something. Seriously nasty goopy eyes.

I tried calling the doctor for an appointment but they can't see him till Monday. Looks like Urgent Care for us tonight. Not to sound like Glenn Beck or anything, but what the heck is wrong with this system that people can't see their doctor when they need to?! I even told them that I have a five week old infant at home but still, Monday is the earliest.

The toddler has been staying at her Grandparents' house...she was determined to go so they took her. Now, I have no idea when she'll be coming back because I don't want her to get sick again. And the whole time, I'm freaking out about the baby getting sick. At least she has "Mommy milk" to help her out.

On another note, did you know if you take a screaming baby to the store, you get to skip line at the cashier? I told you yesterday about needing some jeans so I took the baby and went shopping. Unfortunately, she was already over the excursion by the time we got into the store. So I hurried and grabbed some jeans and went to pay for them. The lady in front of me was nice enough to let me in front of her so I could get my little one home.

Of course, as soon as I had the babe out of the store, she was quiet. Go figure!
