An investigation into a robbery that occurred on March 4 led Johnson City Police to an arrest last night.

Jason M. Reed, 29, 3005 West Walnut St., was charged with aggravated robbery in connection with the incident on March 4.

According to police reports, Reed allegedly went into someone’s apartment, went to their bathroom and attempted to take their medications. The owner of the apartment confronted Reed, police say, and then he allegedly punched the victim in the face.

Reed is being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning.
