Kingsport police arrest juvenile murder suspect
A juvenile accused of shooting and killing another juvenile has been arrested, according to the Kingsport Police Department. Cashlynn Lytle was arrested Thursday afternoon without incident. Lytle is charged with first-degree murder in connection with a shooting on Feb. 11 that killed Malek Jones, who was a sophomore at Kingsport City Schools. Lytle was originally charged with attempted murder, but the charge was upgraded after Jones died on Friday. A second suspect, 25-year-old Haley Locke, was charged with accessory after the fact.
