TVA Repairs On Boone Dam, Appear To Be Holding…As project Winds Down In Final Phase

A seven year long, multi million dollar repair job on Northeast Tennessee’s TVA Boone Dam continues to appear successful as the project winds down in its final phase. Tuesday, TVA officials will update property and business owners on the lake, who have endured the project that started in 2014 when the TVA discovered a sink hole at the base of the nearly 70 year old dam. During the repair, residents saw water levels lowered to record low levels. Those levels have slowly been rising as work at the dam is completed.
