Ballad Health: 47 percent of regional population fully vaccinated, 101 COVID-19 related deaths in past week

Ballad Health released its COVID-19 scorecard on Tuesday, updating the public on current numbers related to the virus. Over the past seven days, the COVID-19 positivity rate for Ballad Health’s 21-county service area sits at 25 percent. Ballad says 47 percent of the area’s population is fully vaccinated.

Additionally, there have been 101 deaths related to the virus in the past week. 301 patients are currently in the hospital with COVID-19, one being a pediatric case. 77 of those are in the Intensive Care Unit, and 60 individuals are on a ventilator. Read the full report here.
