Elizabethton City Schools receive $5.6 million in American Rescue Plan funding

Elizabethton City School officials say this week, they received approximately $5.6 million dollars in American Rescue Plan funding. The grant will help schools sustain safe operations during impacts related to the pandemic.

School officials opened a community survey and are requesting feedback from parents, students, and staff of the Elizabethton City school system on how and where they want funds to be spent. The survey can be found on Elizabethton City School’s Facebook page.
