Johnson City Man Charged With Second Degree Murder, Rape Appears In Court

A Johnson City man is in Sessions Court Friday after being charged with second degree murder and rape. Austin Forkpa, according to investigators sold pills to Bueford Patton the Third, in September. Patton later died from toxic affects of fentanyl and ethanol. Forkpa is also charged with raping a victim at his home in August where investigators collected DNA evidence. Forkpa’a bond is set at 150 thousand dollars.
