local Health Officials Say Now Is The Time To Get Vaccinated

With residents in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia set to gather for this upcoming Christmas Holiday and Omicron now the dominant variant of COVID19 in the country, health officials from both regions are urging those who have not been vaccinated or received their booster to do so now. Ballad Health reports just under 47 percent of the population in the 21 county service area in the region have been vaccinated. Health officials also encourage the continued use of masks in public indoor spaces.
