Positivity Rate At More Than 16 Percent In Ballad Health Service Area

The positivity rate in the 21 county service area for Ballad Health is now at sixteen point four percent. The acceptable level should be at five percent. That’s according to latest figures released Monday. Ballad says they are currently serving 144 patients, with 44 in the Intensive Care Units, with half of those patients on ventilators. There are three pediatric patients receiving treatment for COVID and 12 deaths have been reported in the last seven days. Just over 37 percent of individuals in the reporting area are vaccinated.
