Pound Mayor Resigns, Effective Immediately

In another twist to a developing story from the Town of Pound, Mayor Stacey Carson resigns at Tuesday night’s Town Council session. The town could loose its charter by order of state lawmakers if it can’t get its governmental house in order. A disagreement over equipment, and reimbursement by the town apparently contributed to Carson’s sudden, and immediate resignation.
