Power Restored To Much Of Region

Hundreds of residents in the region once again have power Monday afternoon after an early morning, heavy, wet snow blanketed much of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia knocking power off for many. BrightRidge says hundreds were without power in the Johnson City, Boones Creek, and Jonesborough areas Monday morning. While customers of Appalachian Power started experiencing outages around three am Monday. Much of the power was restored by mid morning.
