Saturday shooting at Johnson City apartment complex under investigation

An SUV sprayed with bullets and a victim with multiple gunshot wounds are the only clues so far in a Saturday shooting at a Johnson City apartment complex.

Police said they received a call just after 1:30 that morning from a resident at Monarch Apartments off University Parkway reporting that they heard at least nine gunshots coming from the rear of the property.

The victim was wheeled into a city hospital by a private vehicle shortly after the shots fired call. The SUV was discovered and processed at the facility.
