UPDATE: Carter County guilty of attempted murder sentenced to 6 years

A Carter County, Tennessee man found guilty of attempted second-degree murder in March was sentenced to 6 years in prison by a Criminal Court judge.

Claude Harvey Banner was convicted in connection to a 2019 shooting that took place at his home in Butler after police said Banner shot the victim following an evening of drinking.
