Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office hosts 2nd Annual Christmas for Kids; provides gifts to 46 local children

The Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office hosted the 2nd Annual Christmas for Kids event, which provides presents to dozens of local children during the holidays. WCSO officials say the department was able to provide 46 children with Christmas presents this year.

Children were gifted toys, as well as necessities like clothes and shoes. The sheriff’s department says these gifts were possible through generous donations from community members, department members, and local businesses. The Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office says it is an honor to help children during the holidays, and is already planning for next year’s event.
