Woman escapes gunfire, leaves with wounded foot

A woman is recovering after a gunshot wound to the foot from an incident where the suspect shot at her several times.

The report from the Sheriff’s Office in Washington County said 76-year-old Tony Slagle is charged with aggravated assault.

The statement said Slagle admitted to wounding the female victim and shooting at her as she left the home on Rock House Road.
