Addiction recovery facility under construction in Dickenson County
Construction is underway for an addiction recovery facility in Dickenson County and leaders say that they hope this faculty will help not only local residents but the surrounding communities as well. Once complete the Wildwood Recovery Center will accommodate more than 100 men who are struggling with substance abuse disorders. In addition to the recovery center, the Virginia Opioid Abatement Authority granted more than three million dollars towards building a health and wellness center as well. The wellness center will be located adjacent to the recovery center. The recovery center is scheduled to open this summer and construction for the wellness center will start in Spring of 2025.
