After a taste of the NBA, McClung resumes G-League play in Chicago

Gate City native and now NBA-certified player Mac McClung is headed back to the G-League following a 20-day stint with the Chicago Bulls.

McClung’s contract was purchased by the Bulls then added him to the roster as the team dealt with player changes due to the COVID pandemic. In his only appearance in a game a week ago, McClung hit a jumper in the closing minutes in a win against Atlanta.

Virginia’s all-time leading high school scorer now joins the Windy City Bulls with a call back to the NBA always a possibility this season.
