Ballad Consolidating Norton’s Two Hospital’s Nursing Care Staff

Ballad Health is announcing the move of several Southwest Virginia employee positions and consolidating a skilled nursing program to another facility, leaving the future of the other hospital in question. As part of the consolidation, Mountain View Regional Hospital will no longer have a skilled nursing facility. Ballad plans to move the skilled nursing program entirely to the Norton Community Hospital. None of the current workers at Mountain View will lose their jobs and team members will have the opportunity to remain with Ballad in a similar role at one of Ballad’s other facilities.
