Body found in Norton last month identified

Police in Norton, Virginia have identified the remains of a man found last month. Police Chief James Lane says the body of 21 year old Preston Powers was located December 19 near the Guest River in the 500 block of Park Avenue. The investigation into Powers’ death remains open.
