Bristol TN Police arrests Blountville man and charge him with sexual exploitation of a minor

The Bristol, Tennessee Police Department arrested a man and charged him with sexual exploitation of a minor. The police department received a mutual aid request Tuesday from the Bristol, Virginia Police Department about a “possible child predator” at 700 State Street. Officers then made contact with 55 year old James M. Kenison of Blountville, who is a sex offender. He agreed to speak with detectives from the Bristol Tennessee Police Department and during the investigation, Child Sexual Abuse Material was discovered, leading to Kenison being charged with one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Kenison was taken to the Sullivan County Jail and additional charges are pending.
