Bristol vice mayor wants answers after former Virginia Intermont campus stands in disarray
Financial and accreditation woes resulted in Virginia Intermont College being shuttered in 2014. A Chinese firm bought the property two years later with promises of redevelopment.
Six years later, recent photos shared on social media show some buildings in decay, busted out windows, even blood, and syringes on the floor along with mold and textbooks from years past.
Bristol Virginia Vice Mayor Neal Osborne plans to get the city involved to track down why the campus constructed in 1884 has fallen into disrepair.
