Carter County Man Wanted On Second Degree Murder Now Back In Carter County Detention

In an update to a story we first told you about last week, Carter County authorities now say a man charged with two counts of attempted murder is being held without bond in the Carter County Detention Center. 37 year old Elijah Adams Taylor, wanted in connection to a shooting that left one person seriously injured on Dave Buck Road was apprehended last week in Caldwell County, North Carolina after fleeing northeast Tennessee. Sheriff’s deputies recently traveled to North Carolina to return Taylor to Carter County where he will now answer to his alleged transgressions.
