Dickenson County Supervisors Reverse Mask Mandate Order

After first defying Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin’s new bill requiring mask wearing as optional in Virginia public schools, the Dickenson County Virginia School Board reverses that decision and will now allow wearing masks to be optional for students except when students are on a school bus. That requirement will remain in effective until the Federal mandate is lifted. The decision comes following a special called meeting on Wednesday when Board Supervisors instructed the school board to follow Youngkin’s new order.
