Dignitaries gather for bridge dedication to late Washington County Commissioner
Washington County leaders and community members gathered on Old State Route 34 on Tuesday afternoon to dedicate a bridge to the late Washington County Commissioner Daniel Edens. Edens was described as a trustworthy and dedicated commissioner who always made sure commission decisions best benefited the community. State legislators Rusty Crowe and Rebecca Alexander said it was an honor to celebrate Edens’ legacy. Daniel Edens served on the Washington County Commission for nearly 18 years.
