Dollywood’s newest roller coaster, Big Bear Mountain taking shape

Dollywood’s newest roller coaster, Big Bear Mountain, is taking shape. An update to the park’s social media on Wednesday shows a large crane and crew members lowering a giant beam—part of the ride’s tracks—into place.

Big Bear Mountain will be a family coaster, and the park’s longest yet. Riders will experience nearly two minutes of twists and turns in the heart of Wildwood Grove. Big Bear Mountain debuts to Dollywood visitors this spring.
