Early Friday morning fire destroys barns at Skyland Ranch in Sevierville
Sevierville Firefighters responded to a fire at SkyLand Ranch that was reported early Friday morning. Sevierville Fire Chief Matt Henderson said a 911 call reported the fire around 2:20 a.m., after people driving through Sevierville spotted a glow on the ridge. When crews arrived, two large barn structures were on fire. City of Sevierville officials said the barns housed horses and small animals. Sevierville Police arrived first and assisted in getting animals away from the area. Both barns look to be a total loss. SkyLand Ranch posted an update on social media and said that all their animals were safe. SkyLand Ranch is a 100 acre attraction that opened in 2024 in Sevierville, just across from Tanger Outlets, with attractions including a mountain coaster and petting zoo.
