Eastman Shows Improvement In Financial First Quarter

After struggling through a tough financial fourth quarter to end the year, Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport is reporting solid improvement in the first quarter of 2023. The company held steady with pricing and benefited from lower raw materials and energy costs to achieve stronger performance in the first quarter. Board Chair and CEO Mark Costa says the company is controlling what it can control, and is also excited about progress being made its circular economy initiatives.
