Food City donates 25k to Communities In Schools of Appalachian Highlands

Communities In Schools of Appalachian Highlands, received a $25,000 check on Wednesday from Food City. Communities In Schools of Appalachian Highlands serves over 40,000 students throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia and supports their learning through school-wide programs and targeted interventions. Food City’s donation will go directly toward students’ education. The nonprofit offers different layers of help to students and has received positive feedback from families involved in the program.
