Former Erwin Police Chief may be facing charges for falsifying records
Former Erwin Police Chief Regan Tilson could be facing charges for allegedly falsifying department training records. That is according to an investigator for Tennessee’s Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission. The investigator gave a report before the commission in Nashville Friday. The investigator said both Tilson and a firearm instructor falsified documents to the state commission giving officers a total of more than $12,000 in salary supplements. The commission had voted to have an informal hearing.
