Greene County, Tennessee Authorities Searching For Identity Of Man’s Body Discovered

Greene County, Tennessee authorities and the TBI are searching for the identity of the body of a man that was found in an empty home on Speedwell Church Road on the Hawkins County border. Sheriff Wesley Holt’s office says in a release the body was found in an abandoned home Sunday morning. Investigators say the man’s body had multiple tattoos, one reading the name DOUG across the man’s fingers and another on his abdomen that read, Momma Tried. An autopsy is being performed at the ETSU William L. Jenkins Forensic Center.
