Hawkins County EMA: Mooresburg Utility District is out of water

The Hawkins County Emergency Management Agency said Thursday morning that the Mooresburg Utility District is out of water, and a restoration timeline is unknown. The EMA said that disaster relief agencies are actively donating bottled water, and any additional community support is appreciated. Shower facilities for residents without water are available at the East Rogersville Baptist Church Community Center located at 1100 E McKinney Ave., from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Thursday. The agency said any other facilities, organizations or businesses wishing to assist with relief on Thursday are asked to call the EMA Director.
