Hoppy Possum brewers competition will not return to Bristol this year

After seven years and many beers, the Hoppy Possum: Southern Brewers Cup announced in a social media post that the amateur brew competition and festival will not return to Bristol this year. The post thanked brewers and competitors, judges, volunteers, vendors, musicians, business partners, and sponsors, as well as those who showed up and attended year after year. According to the Facebook post, “This isn’t goodbye to what Hoppy Possum stood for” but “just the end of this chapter.”
