Johnson City Attorney Charged With Trespassing While Serving Papers

A Johnson City Attorney has been issued a criminal summons for trespassing after attempting to serve subpoenas on a Carter County woman. According to the Carter County Sheriff’s Department, Johnson City Attorney, Frank Santore was asked to leave a residence at 103 Mayfield Drive when he attempted to serve the papers on Laura Holtsclaw, the wife of Russel Holtsclaw, who Santore represents in a civil matter. Santore, allegedly refused to leave and according to the report on two occasions crossed the threshold of the doorway while attempting to serve the papers. A sheriff’s Department Sergeant charged Santore with Criminal Trespassing after reviewing a video of the encounter.
