Johnson City Commissioners Approve New Zoning Requirements

Johnson City Commissioners on Thursday night approved new zoning measures that will require developers to use 15 percent of a development’s land area for open space. Of that 15 percent, seven percent must be usable space such as walking trails. The approval will give developers more flexibility in lot sizes and will also address new single family developments across the city.
