Johnson City: Traffic impacted as West Walnut Redevelopment Project continues downtown

Infrastructure work on the West Walnut Redevelopment Project continues this week (4/11-4/15), and drivers in downtown Johnson City can expect traffic changes and potential delays. Officials say traffic will be impacted along West Walnut Street, as well as at the intersection of Earnest and West Maple Streets while crews install sewer lines and manholes.

Drivers in the area are encouraged to take an alternate route if possible, and always follow work zone speed limits and precautions.
