Jury finds dealer guilty of supplying deadly drugs at 2021 bachelor party

A Johnson City man is headed to prison after he was convicted by a jury of second-degree murder for selling the victim lethal doses of fentanyl and meth at a 2021 bachelor party.
Austin Forkpa reportedly told US Marine Corps member Bueford Patton III that the drugs were Percocet and ecstasy, according to a report from District Attorney Steve Finney’s office.
Patton was found dead of an overdose the next morning. Forkpa faces 25 years in prison when he is sentenced on September 2nd.
