Lebanon VA police investigating after woman found with injuries
The Lebanon Police Department and the Virginia State Police are investigating an incident that left a woman with severe injuries. Officers were conducting a wellness check Friday evening at School House Apartments near George Ben Whited Drive where they found a 45-year-old female with severe injuries to her face and head. She couldn’t respond to officers and was taken by helicopter to the hospital. The Lebanon Police Department, the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, Russell County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and Virginia State Police are conducting an investigation.
