Limestone Cove VFD break in under investigation

Officials with the Limestone Cove Volunteer Fire Department say investigators have gathered fingerprints after a break in at the department. Fire department officials said a tool was used to gain access and some equipment was missing, but they said money from a fundraiser held Saturday was not taken. Fire officials said a mask was found. The Fire Department had just hosted a successful fundraiser on Saturday. The Unicoi County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
