Marion lays out future plans with “Marion 2035” plan

The Town of Marion is laying out its plans for the future through the Marion 2035 plan. Some of those plans include revamping downtown sidewalks and revitalizing the area’s plant life. The town is also working with Emory & Henry University on the plans. One of the projects already underway with the university is a $4 million recreation complex that will also include a new housing development. The town is also looking for ways to honor it’s historic connection to the iconic soft drink, Mountain Dew.
