Medical Cannabis Bill Fails In Tennessee Senate

Following a party line vote in the Tennessee General Assembly, it appears any progress for medical cannabis legalization will have to wait till another year. Senate Bill 1104 failed in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Two Democrats were joined by one Republican in the failed attempt to pass the measure. Most other cannabis related legislation has also failed or made little movement in this legislative session.
