Morgan Wallen cancels six weeks of shows after reinjuring vocal cords
East Tennessee native and country superstar Morgan Wallen announced Tuesday his plan to cancel six weeks of shows at the advice of doctors.
Wallen said in a post on Instagram that he reinjured his vocal cords following shows in Florida over the weekend. He said he was examined by physicians at Vanderbilt University and they told Wallen that he risks permanent damage if he does not get the prescribed rest.
Wallen also said the dates that will be missed due to his condition will be made up next year. He plans on returning to the concert trail after the medical rest is completed.
