Murder Trial Begins

The trial is now underway for one of two people charged in the shooting death of a man outside a Bristol, Tennessee Walmart. 43-year-old Michael Strouth is facing first-degree murder charges in the September 2017 death of Michael Heatherly. Michael Heatherly was the ex-husband of Strouth’s wife and court documents show that Michael and Ashley Strouth purchased a rifle, ammo and items for the purpose of killing Heatherly. As well as researching the internet for avoiding detection and apprehension following the murder. Heatherly was working as a vendor for a merchandising company at the Walmart on Volunteer Parkway when he was killed.
