Police escapee faces life in prison on child sex charges

A Southwest Virginia man has been convicted on several child sex charges by a jury in Circuit Court.

Joshua Adam Keen, 41, of Richlands, was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and two counts of indecent liberties. He will be sentenced on May 30th and faces a life sentence.

Keen escaped from police while at Clinch Valley Medical Center for treatment in 2019. He stayed on the run for a year until his capture in Port Orange, Florida.
