The Northeast Regional Health Office announced that local Tennessee health departments will change their COVID-19 testing hours beginning September 27th. Health Departments affected include Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington Counties. These departments offer COVID-19 PCR drive-through testing. The testing hours will change to Tuesdays and Thursdays only between 8:30 and 9:30 AM. Self-testing kits are also available at all local health departments during normal business hours.
