TDOT: Section of John B. Dennis to close this weekend for bridge work

TDOT says a portion of John B. Dennis Highway in Sullivan County will be closed this weekend and all traffic will be detoured while crews perform bridge repair. The closure will be in place from Saturday at 6 a.m. until Monday at 4 a.m. between Moreland Drive and Lincoln Street. Signs will detour motorists around the work zone via State Route 126. Drivers should be cautious in the work zones and follow posted speed limits. TDOT said delays can be expected and the timeframe of the closure will be contingent on the weather.
